Deck enclosures
Every deck hides a second room.
Glaze the deck itself, or claim the sheltered space underneath it. On a Minnesota walkout, that lower level is the easiest room you will ever add.
The under-deck room
Half the houses in the west metro are walkouts, which means half the houses in the west metro have a covered patio under the deck holding a lawnmower and some spiders. It already has a roof. It already has a floor. We fit frameless glass across the openings and it becomes the shadiest, most private room on the property.
Upstairs works too: an elevated deck enclosed in retractable glass keeps its view on every side and gains a wind-free evening. Panels stack open in June and seal shut for the shoulder seasons, same as every Lumon system.
Deck projects are where engineering matters most, because railings, posts, and spans vary house to house. That is why every project starts with us measuring in person, and why every system is manufactured to order for your exact opening.
